Large masses of Soft corals temporarily exposed at Pulau Jong. Smaller creatures seek the security of the rocky crevices or dense vegetation. Many creatures wait for darkness before staking out to the open waters. For deception, Striped Eetails rally together to form large moving masses. Hard corals flouresce in darkness, showing off its vivid emerald green. Florescence from hard corals is due to the presence of a coral protein that protects the algae from the harmful rays of the sun. Green Egg Crabs somehow seem unafraid, its toxicity is its protection.
